This week Elisa, Melissa and Mike talk about the hot shiny newness announced at Apple’s latest event.

For our picks we select what Apple product we would like. Mike starts off with an iPad Mini (although in reality it may actually be an iPhone 11 Pro). Melissa wouldn’t mind having the iPhone 11 Pro. Elisa wants an new Apple Watch Series 5.

Elisa is gone this week so it’s just Mike and Melissa talking about servers. First Mike tells about the Tonido server he uses to access file from outside the house and share files with other people. Then he tells about using a Plex server to organize his photos, movies and Tv collection. Melissa then compares that to Apple TV.

As usual this week we start off talking about the weather but this must have angered the weather gods because Elisa got knocked off the podcast shortly afterwards due to power failure. But Mike and Melissa soldier on talking about password managers, specifically 1Password and Lastpass. They discuss prices, features and ease of use.

For our picks Melissa cheated and picked a $50 Apple gift card to pay for 1Password. If Elisa would’ve been here she would’ve picked a Keurig Mini. And Mike picked a Wicked Bone Smart Bone to entertain his dog.

This week we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing. Mike recalls the actual landing (he’s an old fart) and we discuss the facts surrounding it. 

From there we move on to movies. We discuss our favorite movies, what we like about them and why we love them.

Finally we move on to our picks which is based on the weather we’re having (it’s Melissa’s weather hot). First Melissa wants to make a splash with a pool. Next Elisa wants her room to be as dry as her humor with a dehumidifier. And to round us out Mike wants to be cool no matter where he goes with a personal air conditioner.
